Hawaiian Mourning Gecko Lepidodactylus lugubris (Captive Bred) 10 gallon vivarium or larger recommended 12x18 minimum size. 18x18 or 18x24+ ideal. Temperature: Hawaiian Mourning Gecko temperature range is mid 70s, to the low 80s. Avoid hot temperatures. Turn off lights and run AC when temps climb above 80F Humidity: Target humidity is between 60%-80%. Do not allow vivarium to dry out. Avoid saturated environments. Vivarium: Tropical environment. Richly planted. Provide hides. Food: Can eat gecko meals such as Pangea. Will also eat small prey such as fruit flies. Size: Start at an inch when hatched. Reach up to 4in as adults Duration: Can live up to 10 years of age. Reproduction: --Parthenogenetic All females can lay eggs with no male present. No other gecko need be present for fertilization.
